Christopher Galizio is the portfolio manager of the LHA Focused Long-Short Fund. He is also the founder and CEO of Focused Capital, LLC, a boutique investment firm specializing in alternative investments.

Prior to founding Focused Capital, Chris was a portfolio manager at Fidelity Institutional Asset Management (FIAM), a Fidelity Investments company, from Feb 2007 to Dec 2017. In this role, he served as a portfolio manager of large capitalization growth assets. During his tenure, assets under management grew from $20 million to over $7 billion, including over $1 billion from a well known family office.

Prior to FIAM, Chris was both a portfolio manager and an analyst during a 13-year tenure at Pioneer Investments. From May 2004 to Jan 2007, he was head of growth investing and managed Pioneer Growth Shares Fund and Pioneer Fundamental Growth Fund. From Jan 2001 to April 2004, Chris was the head of global technology research and managed the Pioneer Global Technology Fund. During his career at Pioneer, he covered several U.S. equity sectors, including technology, energy, and industrials. Prior to joining Pioneer’s domestic equity research staff, he was an international equity analyst for Pioneer, covering Japan and emerging markets.

Chris earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Government from Wesleyan University and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois. He is a Certified Financial Analyst charterholder (CFA).
