Ravi Sarathy is co-founder and director of Red Lion Partners. Mr Sarathy served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Strategy Officer of Gridsum Holding Inc since 2016. Gridsum is a leading China-based Business Analytics, Enterprise Big Data and AI solutions company. He was previously head of APAC Internet, software, media and telecommunications Equity Research at Citigroup from 2010. Prior to that, in 2000, Ravi was the co-founder and President of IRG, a leading Asia-focused TMT corporate finance, M&A and investment boutique. He also served as the head of global Internet research and also the head of Asia Internet, software, media and telecommunications equity research at Lehman Brothers from 1996 to 2000 where he was consistently ranked #1 in a number of investor surveys including Institutional Investor. Mr. Sarathy holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree, both in economics, from Peterhouse, Cambridge University.
