Mr Arowojolu has over 36 years of professional experience with 16 years the Financial Services Industry, and over 20 years in Entrepreneurship with a primary focus on business growth across sub-Saharan Africa.

He began his professional career in the Financial Services Industry in the City of London with James Capel & Co Stockbrokers (HSBC) as a Trade Support Analyst on the Equity Convertibles Desk in 1986. He then went onto Lehman Brothers and later to a subsidiary of the Societe Generale Group based in London where he covered derivatives in various capacities. In 2000, he left the Financial Services Sector as a Credit Analyst and then became an entrepreneur with a focus on Business Growth opportunities across sub-Saharan Africa. In the same year he co-founded London based Management Consultancy, Maine Consulting. Meanwhile by 2005, Maine Consulting had pivoted to become a junior Oil & Gas operator with offices in Lagos, London, and Texas. As Business Development Director, he oversaw and implemented the company’s global marketing strategy. He secured the services of a Dallas based mid-market operator to support a public bid round application in Nigeria where the company eventually won 2 exploration assets. Between 2008 and 2019, he co-founded SME organisations in the Waste to Energy sector, and Infrastructure and Trade Development in various sectors. He was responsible for developing and managing meaningful business relationships, globally to achieve corporate goals. In 2019, he joined London headquartered Mainbridge Group as a Director where his responsibilities lie with Mainbridge Capital with a focus on Fund and Asset Management, Project and Trade Finance, Securities Lending and Collateral Management. His primary role at Mainbridge Capital is on origination, execution, and syndication where he has successfully concluded on deals globally.

Mr Arowojolu studied Management and Business Administration to post graduate level at the University of Westminister in London and graduated with a PG Diploma in Management in 1994 and an MBA in 1996 while in employment in the Financial Services Industry. He also graduated from the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the UK with a Graduate Diploma in Marketing in 1995.

He is married with a family.
